I am the Associate Pastor of Student Ministry at Frederick Boulevard Baptist Church in St. Joseph, Missouri. My amazing wife is Kristin. Together we have been blessed with three daughters: Lindsay, Taylor, and Libby…and a four legged boy named Rusty.

So… (… = dramatic pause in my world.) So…I started this blog in October of 2009. (Yes, I understand that I’m a little late to the game…GET OFF MY BACK…just kidding, but seriously…)

I’m doing it for my own growth. I tend to learn more when I write. If you get anything out of this, I hope bless me by letting me know.

I like to have a complete plan before I start anything. But, that’s just not gonna work here. However, I plan on writing about church issues and youth ministry with quite a few mentions of my girls! And I’ll see where this goes.
